Used boldly, watercolor can glow! In my classes, I help students learn design and painting techniques that make their work eye-catching. In some classes we practice new skills like brushwork tricks, or washes that use timing and contrast to create special effects. In other classes, we go step-by-step through a specific painting from its underpainting to its finishing touches. 

 

Sessions are relaxed and fun. With music playing in the background, I enjoy creating a light atmosphere that helps students learn without stress. We use high-quality paints and paper such as Dr. Ph. Martin's Hydrus Fine Art Watercolors, Winsor & Newton Professional Water Colour, Canson Watercolor Paper, and Arches Watercolor Paper. I supply all materials.
